This is traditional British loose leaf tea at its finest - made by The Rare Tea Company as a bespoke blend for a Battle of Britain RAF navigator and now stocked countrywide.
This tea is calming in times of national peril. Fortifying when courage is required!
A more delicate flavour than a modern Breakfast tea, it has soft florals balanced by smooth, malty notes.
RAFA Tea for Heroes is a very traditional English Breakfast tea of the like we haven't seen for many years. 50p of the price you pay goes to the Royal Air Forces Association Wings Appeal repaying just a little of what so many of us owe to so few.
This tea comes from two beautiful, independent tea producers; the Temi Tea Garden in Sikkim, India and Satemwa Estate on Thyolo Mountain in Malawi. Both are committed to creating the finest tea using sustainable practices to benefit both the land and the people who live on it.
- Use 2.5g of tea per 150ml of water.
- For the optimum infusion use 85°C water. If you like milk, please use water at 100°C.
- Infuse for 1 - 2 minutes, tasting regularly.
Supplied as a 50g tin - enough for approx 20 cups.
