Bronte was set up in 1837 and to this day still uses traditional methods of wool production. Being one of Great Britain's last remaining vertical woollen mills, Bronte is among a select few who continue to complete all processes on one site, based in the heart of Yorkshire. You can be sure of the craftsmanship in each blanket they weave as they have spent generations honing their craft and selecting only the finest raw materials for their wares. Bronte believes that happy sheep make better wool, and have championed sustainability long before it became a common practice.
